On Saturday, June 10th, 18 of us met at Canyon Lakes to do battle with the course. At the end of the day the general consensus was that the course won!

We played the Cha-Cha-Cha format and first place went to Betty McCabe, Dee Tuohy and Lalani Rapp with a score of 140.  In second place with a score of 141 was Della Gutierrez, Therese Johnson, Alleen Hodgkin and Leila Chambers.

Low gross was Dee Tuohy at 102 and low net to Carol Papke at 72.  The #10 Closest to the Pin hole defeated us all.  No one got on the green so we had a blind draw won by Diane King.  There were no birdies or chip-ins.

I said the course really played tough. But the weather was ideal, the company fantastic, and once again we all demonstrated our love for this challenging, fun game.
