The first meeting of our 2017 season was a big success. Redwood Canyon Golf Course in Castro Valley provided a great breakfast which came after a shopping spree where members could purchase golf clothes from vendor, John Vetter. The 2017 Board was introduced and gave an overview of the year including future events, casual play, and tournaments. Our guest speaker was Kathleen Robinson of KMR golf. Her presentation got us out of our seats for a simple golf tip and provided insights into thinking positively about our game by conveying personal experiences with humor. With all the rain that week, only a few hardy souls played golf but the day was filled with sunshine, food and good company.
