The Emerging Golfer’s Group kicked off their 2016  season on Sunday, February 21 with a brunch held at Sally Panella’s house.   It was a resounding success with a delicious brunch shared by over 20 women.   EGG’s Committee Chairs, Sally Panella and Betty Mc Cabe  talked about  the goal of the EGG is to encourage new players to learn and understand the game of golf in a relaxed and friendly environment.   They also discussed the plans for the upcoming golf season and answered questions from the new members.

Monthly EGG clinic and 9 Hole casual play will be held one weekend per month. The first two have been planned.
April 10 – Dublin Ranch, noon,  April Kenyon will discuss Golf Etiquette followed with 9 hole play
May 7 – Tri Valley Golf Center, Marty Foster, Basic Fundamentals of Golf, followed by 9 hole play Executive course next door at Los Positas
Additional dates will be: Sunday June 5, Sunday July 10, Saturday August 6, Sunday September 11. More information to follow.
The Emerging Golfers will also be adding  two additional play days per month on Monday and Thursday.   They are scheduled for  Monday,  April 18 and Thursday 28.  The full schedule will follow the first meeting in April.
