On Sunday, July 19th FWGA hosted an 18 hole tournament at San Ramon.  The format was 3-2-1.  The first 6 holes we took the 3 low net balls, the second 6 holes were 2 low net balls and the last 6 were 1.  Congratulations to the winning team with a score of 135 was Melinda Lumpkin, Lu Walker, Pat White and Marilyn Bestion.  In second place was Stephanie Roberts, Therese Johnson and Kelly Tague with a 139 score.

We had two closest to the pin locations but no one landed on the 7th green.  The other hole was #17, won by Pat Ludwig at 32′

Della Gutierrez was the only chip in of the day.

Thank you everyone who participated…it was a warm day but we had a great time.

Our next tournament is at Monarch Bay on August 22.  It is a combo tournament with both a 9 hole event and an 18 hole.  It is also special because we invite some of the young ladies from The First Tee of the East Bay to come and play with us.  There are only a few openings left so sign up today.
