FWGA Members invited to Volunteer for 2015 Stonebrae Classic.
Hosted July 13th -19th, in the height of the Web.com Tour season, the Stonebrae Classic attracts enthusiastic golf fans from all over the Bay Area. Just as Tony Finau did in 2014, this year’s champion will leave TPC Stonebrae with a significant advantage on his quest to earn one of the 50 coveted PGA TOUR cards that are available for the 2015-16 season on the Web.com Tour.
The PGA Tour relies on thousands of volunteers each year to run its events, because at the end of the day, after the winnings have been distributed and costs covered, the rest goes to charity (the First Tee of the East Bay and NCGA Youth on Course). At the Stonebrae Classic, our volunteers will play a critical role in making sure the event runs smoothly. Each volunteer is asked to purchase a uniform and package at a cost of $65. The volunteer package provides a behind-the-scenes, unparalleled PGA TOUR experience including:
-
- A uniform package
-
- Complimentary food & beverage on the days that you work
-
- Access to the Tournament Grounds for the week
-
- Two (2) additional “good any one day” grounds tickets.
- Free parking
Additionally, all volunteers who work two complete days (or four 1/2 days) will receive a certificate for a complimentary round of golf at TPC Stonebrae! Each volunteer can bring up to one guest for $95 (includes cart and range). (Forecaddie required. Tuesday-Thursday redemption. Non-transferable certificate. Must be used by July 31, 2016.)
