SHORT GAME CLINICS (Unless otherwise noted, the price for the clinics will be $20.)

March 29, 1 pm,  Metropolitan Golf Links, Oakland

Greg Thrall will be teaching a short game clinic focusing on The Fringe to the Pin – or approximately 9 feet in.  This is Part 1 of this year’s short game series and will feature short chips and putting.

April 12, 11 am, San Ramon Golf Club, San Ramon

Part II, taught by Dave Tuttle of San Ramon Golf Club will  focus on “Twelve Feet to the Pin,”  — a distance that forces you to decide what club to use depending on terrain and/or obstacles near the putting surface.

Late April, time and date to be announced.

Former player and golf pro, Winslow “Woody” Woodard, will be hosting a on-course outing offering real time strategies in a game situation on the brand new 9 hole Miff Albright course in Alameda.

After our short game immersion, we will move on to fairway woods and strategies, and, later to the tee box itself.  If you have some specific golf issues that you would like addressed in an FWGA clinic, please contact me and I will search out instructors.
