Our Holiday Brunch was held on Saturday, December 14th at the very festive Round Hill Country Club in Alamo. As soon as you entered the club you were captured by the beautiful decorations and immediately caught up in the holiday spirit.                                                   

                     Members and guests were treated to a wonderful brunch, shopping and a fashion show put on by our very attractive members all wearing the latest golf attire.                                                   

Tami Waddell announced the new FWGA Board members and passed on the gravel on to Della Guiterrez, the new incoming president.

The money FWGA raised throughout the year, mainly at our Annual Tournament in October, was presented to our 2013 charities, The First Tee of Oakland, and Stand Against Domestic Violence.  

April Kenyon introduced three young golfers from First Tee, who each thanked us for our donation and told us what this program has done to help them.

A representative from Stand Against Domestic Violence also thanked us for our donation.  She told us about the services they provide and shared first hand stories of those who are helped by our donations.

The event was a great success thanks to Sue Derby, the outgoing Events Board Member and all her committee members.  

With everyone in the holiday spirit, we all left happy to have spent time with our golf friends, appreciating the feeling of giving and looking forward to great golf in 2014!
