I know, I am a little late on this!  But I wanted to share about our Holiday Brunch from December and I totally forgot to do it with all my own holiday happenings!  In early December it is tradition for the FWGA to hold a Holiday Brunch.  It is a non golf related outing so it is fun to see everyone in their Holiday Finery.

For the past two years we have celebrated at Round Hill Country Club.  Their holiday decorations are amazing.  As a part of this event we have a fashion show of golf attire with our own amazing members as models.

The most important part of the morning is giving our designated charities a check.  Throughout the year FWGA raises money through chip in jar, donations and our Annual.  This year we were excited to donate $3500 to each of our charities – First Tee of Oakland and Youth Uprising.

First Tee of Oakland brought a few of their participants who spoke about what First Tee had done for them.

Youth Uprising also shared some of their success stories.

And of course shopping for lots of new golf clothes, visiting with friends and a yummy brunch rounded out a great morning.  To see the rest of the pictures please check out our facebook album.
