Do you long to get away from it all and spend a few days with some old friends and meet some new ones? Have you ever played any of the courses on the Monterey Peninsula? Del Monte or Poppy Hills?  Well if not, it’s about time for you do something for yourself and pack a bag, hop in the car and go pick up your friend and head for Monterey for three days of golf, gals and wonderful fun in the sun.

FWGA planned this three day invitational event, and you may bring your best buddy who may not be a FWGA member.  You can bring your husband or main squeeze to these events, or just leave them at home to feed the dog & cats!  You may choose to just play one or two days, or hang in for all three.

Picture this, on Saturday September 15th, which is my birthday by the way (all gifts and or adult beverage purchased will be accepted!), you will tee off at San Juan Oaks for our Rally for the Cure awareness event.  After golf, we head to the Best Western on Abrego St. where we have reserved a private room equipped with a kitchen, and will toast those who tore it up on the course and have a snack or two.

When you rise on Sunday September 16th you will need to have a hearty breakfast because you are setting your GPS to Del Monte Golf Course.

On Sunday night before retiring, take a few minutes to stretch or soak in a hot tub because on Monday morning September 17, the icing on the cake and the cherry on top is Poppy Hills in Pebble Beach.  If you have never played Poppy Hills I would definitely put this on your list.  I played it for the first time last year and the course is truly a blast and one not to be missed.

This is a full service hotel and the rate is $189.00 per night plus tax and fees.  The rate is the same for single or double occupancy and the cut-off date to book is AUGUST 24, 2012. Valet parking is an additional fee and is suggested due to the lack of street parking nearby.
