Another beautiful day on the Golf Course.  A little worried the day before as the rain poured down but Sunday dawned bright and sunny, with cart path only being the only result of the rain.   A great tournament hosted by our twin fashion models – Sally and Betty.

The format for the day was an individual game of Three Little Piggies.  Players got to throw out their worse three holes(net)  Wouldn’t we like to do that every round?  Two flights were awarded prizes.  For Flight A, Michelle Ross took Low Gross overall with an 80 which included 2 birdies – way to go Michelle.  Michelle beat out Kristina Ramos for first place in Flight A for Three Little Piggies by a cardoff.  Tami Waddell took third and Linda Rothchild fourth with a three way card off for fourth.  Piper Shaull won longest drive in the fairway for Flight A.  Dee Tuohy won closest to the pin.  For Flight B, First Place for Three Little Piggies went to a card off between Della Gutierrez and Linda Dobb, with Della taking first.  Kay Middleton took 3rd place in Flight B as well as Low Gross in Flight B and Longest Drive!  Way to go Kay!  Eleanor McGregor took 4th in Flight B.

The deadline for the Saddlecreek Weekend Invitational is April 10.  This is a fun weekend getaway. April 28 and 29, with 2 days of golf at the Saddlecreek Course in Copperopolis.  Saturday night is a cocktail party where we announce Saturday’s winners and visit and have fun.  You can invite non-members to join you including your spouse if you would like.  Hotels are available in nearby Angel’s Camp.  This is a great weekend to have fun with your fellow FWGA golf friends.
